Purpose #

The sales order type setup allows for customization of sales orders of this type, for example sending an SMS upon completion of the sales order. You can also choose which dynamic fields should be available for this particular sales order type. This page explains the different options available.

Fields #

System name: The internal name or code for this sales order type, for example WEB.

View name: An explanatory name for the view, e.g. Sales order from webshop.

Sort order: Sets the desired display order for sales order types in a dropdown menu on the sales order screen.

Precode: For guarantees, for example, a precode can be set up to ensure that payment is not made directly by the customer, but via an internal account or possibly a supplier clearing account. See more under precodes.

Customer: Indicates if a sales order type is specifically associated with a certain customer, for example an internal sales order where the customer is your own company.

Default task type: The task type to select by default for tasks created from sales orders of this type.

Default print: The print type to use by default.

Default: Check if this sales order type should be the default type that new sales orders are automatically assigned to.

Prevent automatic discount: If checked, sales orders of this type will not be automatically discounted.

Prevent manual discount: If checked, manual discounts cannot be applied to sales orders of this type.

Support Click&Collect: Enables sales orders to be delivered from a different organizing unit than the original one. For example, an order placed in a webshop can be picked up in the store in Aalborg, after which Sapera performs an internal transfer and invoicing from the webshop organizing unit.

Email subject: Default subject field for emails sent when an order is completed, e.g. “Your machine is repaired”.

Exit message: The content of the closing email.

Show dialog on exit: If checked, a dialog box appears that allows previewing and editing the closing email before sending to the customer.

Fields: Allows extra fields to be attached to sales orders of this type.

– Required: This field must be filled in.
– Must be included on printout: The field will be included on the sales order/invoice.
– Can be changed after the order is completed: Allows you to change values in certain fields even after the order is completed, such as a remarks field.
