The “Register” module is used to manage the company's physical or digital Pos terminals. This is where you define the individual registers that should be available to employees at the moment of sale.
You find the module by going to “Pos” and scrolling down in the left menu until you find the item “Register”.
When the module is opened, a list of all registers created in the system is shown. The overview provides information about:
Number and Name: The register's ID and the name shown in the system.
Org. unit: Which department or location the register belongs to.
Status: The "Active" column indicates with a checkmark whether the register is active and can be used.
To edit an existing register, select the line and click the edit icon (pencil) in the top right corner.
To add a new terminal, click the create icon (+) in the top right corner. This opens the "Create Register" window, where the following fields must be filled in:
Display name: The name of the register as it should appear to users (e.g. "Register 1" or "iPad store").
Finance journal: Here you select the posting journal that transactions from this register should be transferred to. This ensures correct integration with the accounts.
Active: If this field is checked, the register becomes visible and can be selected by employees at login.
Supports signed transactions: This setting is enabled to ensure compliance with SAF-T (Standard Audit File for Tax). When the field is checked, all transaction data is logged and signed digitally in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Signing certificate: When "Supports signed transactions" is checked, this field is shown, where you select the certificate to be used for signing the transactions.
Finish the creation by clicking Save and close.
When an already created register is opened for editing, two additional tabs are shown:
Log: Shows the log entries for the selected register.
Expenses: Shows the payouts/expenses registered on the register.
