Revenue and contribution margin over time

## Revenue dashboard (timeline)

This printout is a timeline version of the revenue dashboard. It compares revenue and cost of goods/contribution margin over time for the selected period and highlights the best and worst invoices, so you can follow the development and deviations.

### How to print it

The printout is generated from the dashboard/analysis area under Accounting in Sapera via the print action. Before the printout is generated, you select the scope with the parameters below.

### Parameters

#### Org. units

Limits the dashboard to one or more organizational units. If the field is left empty, all units you have access to are included.

#### Period

Selects the period the figures are calculated for: Today's date, Current week, Current month, Current fiscal year or since the start of last fiscal year.

#### From date

Start date if you want a custom date range instead of a fixed period.

#### To date

End date for the custom date range.

#### Source

Selects which sales sources are included, e.g. POS sales, Invoice, Order, Journal or combinations thereof.

#### Show the X best invoices by CM

Number of invoices with the highest contribution margin that are highlighted.

#### Show the X worst invoices by CM

Number of invoices with the lowest contribution margin that are highlighted.

#### Stock type

Selects which entry types are included: Stock entries, Service entries or All.

#### Sales accounts

The accounts counted as sales accounts in the calculation. Separate multiple with commas.

#### Cost of goods accounts

The accounts counted as cost of goods accounts in the calculation. Separate multiple with commas.

#### Show rows with difference greater than X for revenue

Threshold so only rows with a revenue difference greater than the specified value are shown.

#### Show rows with difference greater than X for cost of goods

Threshold so only rows with a cost of goods difference greater than the specified value are shown.

#### Show fully credited in comparison

Selects whether fully credited entries are included in the comparison (Yes/No).

#### From category

Lower limit for the range of product categories included.

#### To category

Upper limit for the range of product categories included.

#### Product

Limits the dashboard to a specific product. If the field is left empty, all products are included.

#### Sales number

Limits the dashboard to a specific sales number (external reference). If the field is left empty, all are included.

### Settings support can configure

In addition to the choices shown in the print dialog, the dashboard has a few settings that control its behaviour and can be adjusted by support per company. If you want the dashboard changed, contact support and refer to the relevant setting below. The technical name is shown in parentheses.

-   Limit to the current accounting set, or include across accounting sets (filteronmetalevel)
    
-   Specify which stock accounts are included in the calculation (stockaccounts)
    
-   Threshold for when a stock difference should be shown (allowstockdiff)
