Webshop categories are the category structure your customers see in your webshop. You build a tree structure of categories, and for each category you define which inventory categories or individual products from Sapera are to be shown under it. The screen gives you an overview of all categories for a selected webshop and lets you create, edit and delete them, as well as control the order they are shown in. ### How to access the screen From the hamburger menu in the top left corner of Sapera, open **Financial**. In the left menu, select **Webshop categories**. If you cannot see the menu item in the menu, you probably do not have permission to it. Contact support. ### Select webshop At the top of the screen you select which webshop you are working with, in the dropdown **Select webshop**. When you switch webshop, the category tree is updated automatically. ### Create a new category 1\. Optionally select an existing category in the tree, if the new one is to be created as a subcategory of it. 2\. Click the **New category** button in the toolbar. 3\. Fill in the fields in the edit panel on the right, and click **Save**. ### Field descriptions **Name:** The category's name, as it is shown in the webshop's category list. **Logo:** Image representing the category. You upload an image directly from this field. **Search tags:** One or more search tags from the inventory system, used to filter which products belong to the category. Tags are defined in Financial. **Manufacturer:** Specify a supplier/manufacturer (actor with the role Supplier) if the category should only contain products from specific manufacturers. You can link several manufacturers and remove them again with the minus icon. **Linking:** The table shows which inventory categories are linked to the webshop category. For each link it is specified whether the entire inventory category is synchronized, or only selected products from it. You add and remove links with the plus and minus buttons above the table. With the list icon in the table you can select specific products within an inventory category. **SEO fields:** Below the edit panel are the fields **Title**, **Description** and **Keywords**, which are sent to the webshop's search engine optimization for the category page. ### Edit or delete a category 1\. Select the category in the tree on the left. 2\. Click **Edit** in the toolbar to enter edit mode, make your changes, and then click **Save**. 3\. To delete the category, click **Remove** and confirm in the dialog box. ### Order You can adjust the order in which categories are shown by selecting a category and clicking **Move up** or **Move down** in the toolbar. The order applies within the same level in the tree. ### Synchronization to webshop Once you have created or changed categories, the changes must be sent to the webshop platform. Click **Synchronize** to start a synchronization based on the latest known state. Administrators also have access to the button **Force full synchronization**, which resends all data regardless of what has previously been synchronized.
