The default chart of accounts is a template that shows Sapera's predefined accounts and VAT types. It gives you a combined overview of which accounts and VAT types exist in the default setup, and can be used as a reference when you configure the company's accounting.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission for it. Contact support.
Go to Financial and navigate to the accounting accounts list. Click the hamburger menu (three lines at the top right) and select "View default chart of accounts".
A dialog opens with two tabs: Accounts and VAT types.
The Accounts tab shows all accounts in the default chart of accounts. Each line corresponds to one account in the default plan.
You can search the list by using the search button at the top of the screen. The search covers the fields Display name, Guidance, and Number. See How to search in lists for more on searching and filtering.
Filtering is done directly per column in the grid — there is no separate dropdown menu for filtering.
You can customise which columns are shown by using the column selection in the grid. Certain columns are hidden by default and can be enabled as needed.
