# Sales overview

The development of sales with key figures, monthly charts and two tables you split yourself.

The **Salgoverblik** (Sales overview) tab gives you sales from a bird's-eye view: key figures, the month-by-month trend and how sales break down.

## What the page shows

-   Five key figures: revenue, contribution margin (DB), margin percentage (DG%), units sold and revenue in the pipeline.
    
-   **Omsætning pr. måned** (revenue per month) with DG% and a line for the same period last year.
    
-   **Omsætning ændring pr. måned** (revenue change per month): how much revenue went up or down compared to the month before.
    
-   Revenue this year against last year, split by your choice.
    
-   Two tables with e.g. revenue, contribution margin, DG%, discount, units sold and stock figures.
    

## How to use it

-   Choose in **Opdel pr.** (Split by) what the first chart and table are split by: category (number, name, main or sub-category), department, employee, original seller or supplier.
    
-   Choose in **Under opdeling** (Sub-split) what the second chart and table are split by — the same options except main and sub-category.
    
-   Choose **Regnskabsår** (fiscal year, default "Indeværende år" = current year) and optionally a **Periode** (period). The two filters work together.
    
-   Narrow down with **Regnskab** (accounts) and **Lager org. enhed** (stock org. unit), or search by product number, product name, manufacturer or EAN. **Ryd valg** (Clear selections) resets all filters.
    
-   Switch to **Salg** (Sales) and **Salgdetaljer** (Sales details) to go deeper.
    

## Good to know

-   You cannot split by product or time here — use **Salg** (Sales) for that. Sales per customer are on Customer analysis.
    
-   All amounts are excl. VAT unless stated otherwise.
