# Inventory & purchasing

Stock on hand seen together with purchasing: value, purchase amount, open payables and turnover.

The **Lager & indkøb** (Inventory & purchasing) tab links inventory with purchasing, so you see what is in stock, what you have bought and how fast inventory turns.

## What the page shows

-   Cards with **Lagerværdi** (inventory value), **Disponibelt lager** (available stock), **Bruttoavance %** (gross margin %), **Købsbeløb** (purchase amount), **Antal købsfakturaer** (number of purchase invoices), **Åben kreditor** (open payables), **Oms.hastighed** (turnover) and **Dage på lager** (days in stock).
    
-   The table **Leverandør → produkt** (supplier → product) with purchase amount, average per purchase invoice and open payables.
    
-   The table **Kategori → produkt** (category → product) with inventory value, quantity and gross margin %.
    

## How to use it

-   Choose the period in the date slicer (default: the latest year).
    
-   Filter by **Lager org. enhed** (department), product category or supplier. Click **Ryd valg** (clear) to reset.
    
-   See the vouchers behind a supplier: right-click the supplier and choose **Drill through** → **Kreditor-bilag** (Creditor vouchers).
    

## Good to know

-   Inventory value, available stock, turnover and days in stock are the **stock on hand at the end of the period** (at most today).
    
-   Purchase amount, number of purchase invoices and gross margin follow the chosen period.
    
-   **Inventory turnover** = cost of goods used over the last 12 months ÷ inventory value. **Days in stock** = 365 ÷ the turnover.
