# Inventory ageing

How old today's inventory is, split into age bands and per department.

The **Aldersfordelt lager** (Inventory ageing) tab shows how long items have been in stock, split into age bands — so you can find what ties up capital unnecessarily.

## What the page shows

- Inventory value, quantity and share of inventory value in each band: Ikke modtaget endnu (not received yet), 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-180, 181-270 and 271-365 days, 1-2 years, 2-3 years, 3-5 years and Over 5 years.

- Cards with inventory value, quantity, turnover, days in stock and **Gns. lageralder** (average stock age).

- The chart **Gns. lageralder pr. afdeling** (average stock age per department).

## How to use it

- Filter by department (**Lager org. enhed**), product category or supplier. Click **Ryd valg** (clear) to reset.

- Use it to plan campaigns or write-downs.

- The page can also be opened via drill-through from **Kræver opmærksomhed** (Needs attention); then use **← Tilbage** (back) to return.

## Good to know

- Age is always measured from today — there is no date picker.

- Age is counted from the receipt date of each layer of the item (FIFO layer). The value is the remaining quantity × weighted average cost price.

- **Gns. lageralder** is weighted by value, so expensive items count more than cheap ones.
