# Difference per day

When did the difference between inventory value and FIFO arise? One row per day and item where it moved.

The **Diff pr. dag** (Difference per day) tab shows when the difference between the inventory value and the FIFO value arose. Each row is a day and an item where the difference actually moved — newest at the top.

## What the page shows

-   The same cards as on **Lagerværdi vs FIFO** (Inventory value vs FIFO): inventory value, FIFO value, difference, difference % and how much is due to negative stock, location imbalance, serial-number items and cost price difference.
    
-   A table with date, department, location, item no., item, variant, serial-number item, **Åbn** (open) link, **Diff-skift** (change in difference), **Diff (as-of)** (difference as of the date), inventory value, FIFO value and status.
    

## How to use it

-   Use the same filters as on **Lagerværdi vs FIFO**: **Varenr (søg)** (item no.), **Kategori** (category), **Serienr (søg)** (serial no.), **Diff over (kr)** (difference over, DKK) and **Status**.
    
-   Find the day the difference arose and see what happened that day — e.g. a sale before the item was received.
    
-   Click **Åbn** to open the item in Shop Manager.
    
-   Right-click a row and choose **Drill through** → **FIFO-detalje (bilag)** (FIFO detail) or **Lagerbilag** (Inventory vouchers) to see the movements behind it.
    

## Good to know

-   **Diff-skift** = how much the difference changed that day. **Diff (as-of)** = the difference as it stood after that day.
    
-   Differences that stay unchanged produce no new rows.
