UI Settings is a top-level category that collects the settings that control how Sapera's user interface behaves. The category contains one standalone setting for rounding of amounts in the display, plus two subcategories with additional settings.
Open the menu in the top left corner of Sapera and select Financial. Then go to Setup and Settings, and find the UI Settings category.
Changing settings typically requires administrator or setup permissions.
Determines the rounding rule the user interface uses when amounts are rounded for display. The setting can only be changed by an administrator and cannot be overridden at lower levels in the setup. There are two options to choose from:
Standard (Half away from zero): The default choice. Amounts are rounded using the common rule where halves are rounded away from zero, so 0.5 is rounded up to 1.
Banker’s (Half to even): Amounts are rounded using banker's rounding, where halves are rounded to the nearest even number. This method reduces systematic rounding bias over many calculations.
Contains personal user settings for, among other things, the touch keyboard, choice of control type (radio buttons versus dropdown) on touch and desktop devices respectively, the color of the web client's header, and display of pending notifications at startup. Read more in the article User Preferences.
Contains settings that affect working with actors such as customers and suppliers. This also includes the subcategory Address Preferences, where, among other things, Danish address lookup (DAWA) is configured. Read more in the article Actor Preferences.
