# Settings for service reminders
This article describes the settings under the category Communication workflow settings in the Inventory module. The settings control during which time of day Sapera automatically sends scheduled service reminder messages to customers.
The settings are accessed from Shop Manager. Open the hamburger menu in the top left corner, select Shop Manager, and then navigate to Setup → Settings → Inventory → Communication workflow settings.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission to access it. Contact support.
When a service reminder has scheduled and approved messages for customers, Sapera sends them automatically – but only within a certain time of day. The settings below determine when this window starts and ends. Only messages that have been approved and whose scheduled date has been reached are sent. The system checks every 5 minutes whether there are messages ready to be sent within the window.
Communication start time: Here you specify from which full hour automatic messages – e.g. SMS – may begin to be sent. Choose a time between 00:00 and 23:00. The default is 21:00.
Communication end time: Here you specify at which full hour the sending window closes. Choose a time between 00:00 and 23:00. The default is 22:00. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the window continues past midnight – for example, a start of 21:00 and an end of 06:00 means messages are sent from 21:00 until 06:00 the next morning.
