This article reviews the setup of the physical printers that Sapera uses for printing A4 reports, labels and exchange labels via the Sapera Agent. The category is currently named "Logical Printes Settings" in Sapera.
1. From the hamburger menu in the top left corner of Sapera, open "Financial".
2. Go to "Setup" → "Settings" → "Reports" → "Logical Printes Settings".
Under the category there is one subcategory per logical printer. By default there are three: A4, Labels and Exchange Label. If you create your own logical printers in your solution, they automatically get their own subcategory here with the same setting.
Each subcategory contains one setting:
The name of the physical printer that the logical printer should send prints to. The name must match the printer's name in Windows exactly on the machine where the Sapera Agent runs — it is the agent that performs the actual printing.
A4: The printer for ordinary A4 reports and PDFs printed via the agent.
Labels: The printer for labels.
Exchange Label: The printer for exchange labels.
If the field is empty, the logical printer is not considered configured, and printing to it cannot be performed. The value is read per level — remember to select the correct level (e.g. the agent profile) at the top of Settings, so the printer name applies to the machine that should print.
