The Lagerværdi vs FIFO (Inventory value vs FIFO) tab compares the inventory value in Sapera (quantity × cost price) with a true FIFO value, where each remainder of a purchase is valued at its own cost price. The page shows where the two differ, and why. It is a tool for finding errors in setup and stock handling.
What the page shows
Cards with Lagerværdi i alt (total inventory value), FIFO-værdi i alt (total FIFO value), Diff (bogført − FIFO) (difference, booked − FIFO) and Diff %.
How much of the difference is due to: Heraf negativt lager (negative stock), Heraf lokations-ubalance (location imbalance), Heraf serievare (serial-number items) and Heraf kostprisforskel (cost price difference).
A table per department, location, item, variant and serial-number item with quantity, inventory value, FIFO value, difference, status and an Åbn (open) link that opens the item in Shop Manager.
How to use it
Search with Varenr (søg) (item no.) or Serienr (søg) (serial no.), and narrow down with Kategori (category) and Status.
Use Diff over (kr) (difference over, DKK) to see only rows with a difference above e.g. DKK 100.
Right-click an item and choose Drill through → FIFO-detalje (bilag) (FIFO detail) to see the movements in FIFO order, or → Lagerbilag (Inventory vouchers) for all stock movements.
Use Diff pr. dag (Difference per day) to find out when a difference arose.
Good to know
Negativt lager (negative stock): the item was sold before it was in stock (short across all locations).
Lokations-ubalance (location imbalance): negative stock at one location, covered by stock at another.
Serievare (serial-number items): items with serial numbers, where stock has been moved from the base item to serial-number items.
Kostprisforskel (cost price difference): the item was sold at a different cost price than the FIFO layer's.
Only rows with a difference are shown. The cards always show the total, regardless of Diff over (kr).
