The DMR import action triggers the central import of vehicle data from the Danish Motor Register (DMR) and waits until the import is finished. It does not create serial-number products itself; it fetches the register's extract into the shared DMR database that customers' registration-number lookups use.
What the action does
Starts the central DMR import (the same import that runs automatically every week, normally Saturday at 02:00).
Skips if an import is already in progress or pending.
Waits until the import has completed (with a long timeout), so a scheduled run can depend on it.
Import status
The status is followed on the DMR import status page (under the stock menu in Financial), which is shown only for CRS's operator account – not for customers. The page shows the runs with, among other things, Id, File, Status, Started, Number of records and Error, with the states Pending, In progress, Completed, Failed and Partially completed. The import can also be started manually from here with Start import.
The customer's part
Customers do not use this action. They look up vehicle data directly on the serial-number product via the registration number – see the customer-facing article about the Danish Motor Register.
