This note describes the most important news and improvements in Sapera's November 2026 update. The update is rolled out gradually across environments, so the features become available once your solution has been updated.
Sales, orders and invoices
Part sale of machines and serial-number products
A new "Part sale" (Delsalg) action code lets you sell a part from a machine (serial-number product) straight from a sales order or invoice line. The part is sold as an ordinary sale line that the customer pays for, and when you select the machine you enter the cost price that is deducted from the machine's stock value and carried to the line. Sales orders and dispatches leave the remaining part to the invoice.
Overprice regulation from the individual unit
Overprice regulation can now be triggered directly from a serial-number product, so the adjustment targets the specific unit (machine economy).
Quote revisions
A quote can now be versioned as revisions, preserving the quote's change history.
Product rules for sales orders
You can now set up product rules for sales orders: a rule is triggered by a specific product or product category and can — scoped to a particular sales order type — require a task type, require an assigned user, and automatically add specific products. Each sales order type can also limit which task types are allowed.
Other sales improvements
An accepted quote (that created a sales order) now links back to the quote.
Quotes now have a Tasks tab like sales orders.
Quote attachments gained an "Include on next email" column like on sales orders.
The sales order overview gained a "Main task state" column showing the main task's state (name and colour), which can be filtered, and the overview can now be sorted on the "Planned" column.
Sales orders can now be filtered on the assigned user.
A sum of the selected rows is now shown at the bottom of sales orders and invoices.
Amount filters now accept negative amounts, and lists can be saved as CSV.
Fixed that a task's title was overwritten when adding or changing lines on a sales order.
Fixed that changing the currency on a sales order did not update the lines visually.
Fixed that the Total column in the "select sales order" dialog could be empty.
POS
The POS now supports a dark theme alongside the rest of the system.
The sale-complete confirmation screen can now choose the money-back kind when it can be changed.
A related product assigned to a serial-number product is now added to the basket together with it.
Sales history now matches on customer number in both the customer column filter and free-text search.
Quick barcode scan now respects the "on behalf of" permission check.
Fixed that two buttons in the unfinished-sales dialog both read "Luk" and did opposite things.
An agent profile can now be deleted – for example if an iPad profile was created on the wrong agent by mistake.
Inventory
Reset stock during a count
During a stock count, the stock draft can now reset the stock for the products that were not counted, and the cost price is recalculated automatically when the stock date changes.
External number on serial-number products
Serial-number products can now carry an external number next to the registration number, so external references can follow the individual unit. The serial-number product list also gained an external-number column (hidden by default) with filter and sorting.
Construction date on serial-number products
Serial-number products now have a new, optional Construction date field, so you can see how old a unit is. The date appears as a column with a date filter in the list, and communication workflows can now be scheduled from the construction date – for example a step X months after the construction date – just as from the last service.
Other inventory improvements
The product list and product page now show the lifetime total sold count, and the product list can be sorted by sold count.
The product summary line now makes clearer that ordered quantities may arrive on several different delivery dates.
The stock archive gained columns for the product's main supplier and the sales price after discount (excl. VAT), and stock draft rows show the original stock date in its own column.
The product column filter gained a browse dialog, and the product selector gained a cost-price filter.
When copying a product you are now asked for the identifier instead of getting a KOPI number.
A new setting controls whether new products are created with "Allow fractional quantity" on or off.
You can now send a message – optionally with a file attached – straight from the serial-number product list.
Merging products now carries over the supplier item number.
Fixed that "Use latest purchase price" could pick entries with a cost price of 0.
The FIFO availability tab is now filtered to the organizational units the user can access.
Fixed that current owner and sales date were not filled in when a unit was sold before it was purchased.
Serial-number products gained a machine economy tab with a grouped overview of what has already been posted on the unit.
A serial-number product now shows a Related products tab when any are linked.
Fixed that changing a product's standard cost price did not trigger a cost-price recalculation.
Purchasing and purchase invoices
Copy a purchase invoice
A purchase invoice can now be copied, just like sales documents, so a recurring supplier invoice can be created without retyping everything.
Approval flow for purchase invoices
Purchase invoices have gained a full approval flow: you can request approval, see approval status and columns in the list, and approve or reject invoices. The flow uses its own notification and permission types, so an approval can be routed to a specific user. A tolerance can also be configured, so small price differences between the purchase invoice and the purchase order do not require approval.
Other purchasing improvements
The "prevent booking" account setting is now also honored when purchase invoices are booked.
The serial-number product picker under [Cost] now shows availability for the purchase invoice's unit instead of the root unit.
Keyboard shortcut for "Link to purchase invoice" in the digital inbox.
Purchase order lines gained a "Not delivered" column.
On a purchase, the system can now ask whether to update the product from the delivery; if the update is cancelled, the delivery stays open.
When you choose a delivery date in the purchase delivery popup, it now shows which products would go into negative stock as of the chosen date.
Claims
Claim (Reklamation) action code
A new "Claim" (Reklamation) action code can be set on sales order and invoice lines and marks the line as an open claim. A supplier credit note on a purchase invoice can now be linked to exactly the sales order lines it covers: claims appear on a tab on both the sales order and the purchase invoice, have their own list, and the sales order overview gained a column and filter on claim state. Claimed lines move no stock when booked (they are booked as non-stock claim entries), and a claim can be closed, reopened or marked as handled manually.
Accounting and finance
Outgoing bank payments in ISO 20022 format
Outgoing payments can now be written in the ISO 20022 (pain.001) bank format, with IBAN/BIC required on the bank account. Payments are grouped into batches per organizational unit and bank format, the IBAN shows in the outbox, and a batch can be re-issued in another bank format. You are now asked for confirmation before a batch is re-issued in another format or an already exported payment is downloaded again.
Representation VAT (partial VAT deduction)
VAT types now support representation VAT with a partial (25%) VAT deduction, so VAT is split correctly when booking.
Sales and discount accounts per customer category and customer
Sales and discount accounts can now be overridden on the debtor category and customer preference. The accounts are resolved in one place, shown in the customer tooltip and recalculated automatically when the customer changes.
Prevent booking honored everywhere
The account setting that prevents booking is now honored when booking invoices, dispatches, purchase invoices and outgoing payments, so posting to a blocked account is rejected.
Recurring entries
Recurring journal entries can now be set up as recurring entries – with their own list, edit dialog and permission control – so fixed, periodic entries no longer have to be retyped each time.
Other finance improvements
Entries can now be inserted in the middle of a draft.
The appendix number can now be changed directly from the appendix menu on the financial draft for appendices that are not yet booked – the selected row and all rows with the same appendix number get the new number.
Debtor settlement now shows the amount to be settled and no longer changes the amount itself, so no difference arises at the bank.
Bank import now asks for confirmation before an action that clears data (clear draft, clear matched, etc.).
When booking several appendices, the system asks whether to book the others if one cannot validate.
In the reminder flow, an entry can no longer be selected when a later unsettled payment exists.
Fixed that "Settle all automatically" could leave an unbroken zero-sum run unsettled.
Fixed that settling a draft entry directly from the draft was not saved correctly.
Fixed a problem with outgoing payments using payment code +75 (FIK payment slip).
Subscriptions
Import and take-over from Frisbii
Customers, plans and subscriptions can now be imported and taken over from Frisbii with progress tracking, and emptied Frisbii plans without active subscriptions can be cleaned up.
Fixed that the fixed price could be lost when a subscription line total is zero.
Calendar and tasks
Locking worklogs on approved days
In "My day", worklogs are locked on approved days, and only managers can reopen an approval.
Time tracking split per day
The time tracker now splits worklogs per day, so start and end are correct when tracking spans several days.
The work card now shows the customer's financial entries next to the sales history.
The calendar task card now shows the customer name more clearly and no longer clips it.
All-day tasks now fill the whole day in the calendar, so it is clear the day is occupied.
Deleting a task that has worklogs now requires confirmation, and deleted tasks can be restored; deleted tasks are hidden and left out of reports.
Communication and digital inbox
On the incoming email messages grid you can now see the automatically extracted data in a popover when you hover over the row.
Failed emails in the queue can now be requeued.
The Sync button is back in the digital inbox (as a compact icon button).
The digital inbox now guides you to "Split by PDF attachments" when a message contains several PDFs.
Webshop
GPSR support (product safety)
The webshop now supports GPSR: manufacturer / responsible-person details and product safety documents can be synced to WooCommerce. A setting controls whether documents are synced and in which format – either Sapera's own simple format or the format used by the popular free GPSR plugin. A full sync removes orphaned documents from the shop.
Integrations
Danish Motor Register (DMR) integration
A new integration with the Danish Motor Register: vehicle data – including equipment, fuel, inspection, motor and permits – can be imported and field-mapped onto serial-number products in Sapera. The import runs on a schedule or can be started manually and followed on a status page. Aimed at dealers working with vehicles; a ready-made "Car" template is included.
Shopify integration
Sapera can now sync to Shopify alongside WooCommerce. Products, stock, images, orders and customers are synced, the brand is placed in Shopify's vendor field, and products that no longer match the webshop's categories are removed from Shopify. Setup and synchronization are driven from a dedicated settings and sync page.
Reports and printouts
A logical receipt printer is now seeded automatically, so print and report tags can target the receipt printer centrally without per-PC setup.
Security and users
Password reset from login
The login screen has been redesigned and now supports self-service password reset.
User interface and general
AI assistant in Shop Manager
Shop Manager now includes a built-in AI chat assistant, and you can have AI improve text in fields across the system. Access is governed by permissions.
Dark theme and new header design
Sapera now supports a dark theme, and the whole interface has been made visually more consistent. The header has been redesigned with unified icon buttons, the organizational-unit selector and user profile split apart, and buttons now show tooltips.
Dashboards: new widgets and shortcuts
Dashboards have gained new widgets (a sales order list and a financial tasks list), and selected dashboards can be flagged to appear as items in the application menu.
Other improvements
A new "Quick Create" button next to the main menu search field for quickly creating new records.
Required fields are now clearly marked with an asterisk (*) next to the field caption.
You can now copy a direct link to a record and open the system straight to that record via the link.
Downloading an attached file now honors the "Open in Agent" setting.
Setting categories and value types (App Builder) now show localized, readable display names.
Fixed that the pending-notifications startup popup could appear on top when the system was opened via a direct link.
Attachments can now be previewed without having to download them first.
Keyboard navigation in grids has been improved, and the "Check all" button has been replaced by a selection counter that shows how many rows are selected.
The sidebar menu now remembers which menu groups you have expanded or collapsed.
The Copy action is now consistent: on edit pages (invoice, sales order, quote, purchase invoice) it lives under the "more" menu, and overviews have a Copy icon in the toolbar.
The AI assistant now has a "Clear chat" button that clears the conversation and starts over.
SyncTool and data synchronization
SyncTool can now pull vehicle data from the Danish Motor Register (DMR) and create it as serial-number products in Sapera – the import is followed on a status page (see Integrations above).
SyncTool has been moved to the latest technical foundation, and per-job logging is now more precise, so runs are easier to follow and more stable.
