Action: Suppliers (creditors)

Imports suppliers, matching on the identifier and creating or updating supplier master data, contact details and default cost settings.

How to use the action

1. Select the action in the Action field. 2. Point to your data source – a file (CSV or Excel) or a SQL query. 3. Map the source columns to Sapera's fields in the column mapping (see Source fields below). 4. Run Compare to see what will be created, changed or stay unchanged – without writing to Sapera. 5. Run Update Sapera to perform the import.

Use the Allow create and Allow update parameters to control whether new rows are created and whether existing ones are updated.

How matching and updating works

Each row is matched on the supplier's identifier (Identifier). Matching suppliers are updated and new ones created – with master data, contact details and default cost settings. Direction: from file/SQL into Sapera.

Key parameters

`AllowCreate`	When enabled, suppliers that do not already exist are created.
`AllowUpdate`	When enabled, existing suppliers are updated with the imported values.

`AddressLine1`	First line of the supplier's address.
`AddressLine2`	Second line of the supplier's address.
`BankAccountNumber`	The supplier's bank account number.
`BankRegistrationNumber`	The supplier's bank registration number.
`Category`	The category the supplier is assigned to.
`City`	City of the supplier's address.
`CompanyTaxNumber`	The supplier company's VAT or tax registration number.
`Country`	Country of the supplier's address.
`DefaultCostAccount`	The default cost account used when booking purchases from the supplier.
`DefaultCostText`	The default cost text used when booking purchases from the supplier.
`Email`	The supplier's primary e-mail address.
`Fax`	The supplier's fax number.
`FirstName`	The supplier contact's first name.
`Identifier`	Unique key that identifies the supplier and is used to match existing records.
`LastName`	The supplier contact's last name.
`Mobile`	The supplier's mobile phone number.
`Organization`	The organization the supplier belongs to.
`PaymentTerm`	The payment term applied to the supplier.
`Phone`	The supplier's primary phone number.
`Ssn`	The supplier's social security number.
`Web`	The supplier's website address.
`ZipCode`	Postal code of the supplier's address.
