MobilePay is a mobile payment solution where the customer pays directly from the MobilePay app on their phone. In Sapera, MobilePay can be used as a payment method in the cash register via a POS integration. On this settings page you enable or disable whether this integration is supported in the system.
When the integration is enabled, MobilePay becomes available as a payment method during checkout in the cash register, and you gain access to administration of the MobilePay stores that the cash registers are linked to.
The setting is found via Shop Manager. Open the menu in the top left corner, select Shop Manager, and then go to Setup and Settings. Under the settings you will find the category Accounting with the subcategory MobilePay.
Access to change the setting requires the relevant setup permissions. If you do not have access, contact a user with administrator rights.
Is MobilePay POS integration supported: Specifies whether the MobilePay POS integration is active in the system. The default value is No.
With Yes, MobilePay can be selected as a payment method during checkout in the cash register. At the same time, the menu item MobilePay stores becomes visible under the cash register setup, where the individual MobilePay stores are managed and synchronized, and a MobilePay point of sale (PoS) can be selected on each cash register's profile.
With No, MobilePay payments cannot be carried out in the cash register, and the MobilePay-related fields and menu items are hidden. Therefore, only enable the integration once MobilePay is actually going to be used as a payment method.
