Here you find the settings for the receipt printer the checkout uses. The settings control both the appearance of the receipt itself (logo, store info, font, margins and columns) and the technical connection to the printer and cash drawer. Most stores only need to adjust very few of the fields, as there are already sensible default values for the rest.
1. Open the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of Sapera and select Financial. 2. Go to Setup → Settings → Point of Sales → Agent application → Receipt Printer.
Receipt Logo Image: Upload an image that is printed at the top of the receipt. The default is no logo.
Shop Info Top: Text at the top of the receipt, typically the store's name and address. The default value is the store's name, which can be changed to your own details.
Shop Info Bottom: Text at the bottom of the receipt, e.g. opening hours, return policy or a friendly greeting.
Gift card text: Extra text printed on the receipt when a gift card is issued, e.g. information about the validity period. Empty by default.
Refund coupon text: Extra text printed when a refund coupon is issued. Empty by default.
Printer Name: The name of the printer the agent uses as the receipt printer. The default is "SII RP-D10". The printer can also be selected directly from the agent at the checkout.
Secondary Printer Name: The name of any additional receipt printer. Only filled in if the store uses two printers. Empty by default.
Eject Drawer Command: The string sequence that makes the cash drawer open. The sequence can vary from brand to brand and from model to model. It is specified either as a string or as bytes separated by commas in curly brackets, e.g. {243, 123}. The default value matches the included printer, so the field normally only needs changing for a different printer/drawer model.
Font: The font used on the receipt. The default is Courier New.
Font Size: The font size on the receipt. The default is 8.
Print in bold: Specify 1 to print the entire receipt in bold, or 0 for normal text. The default is 1.
Margin Left: Left margin in mm. The default is 0.
Margin Right: Right margin in mm. The default is 0.
Margin Top: Top margin in mm. The default is 5.
Margin Bottom: Bottom margin in mm. The default is 5.
Disabled: Specify 1 to turn the receipt printer off completely, or 0 to keep it active. The default is 0 (the printer is active).
Each item line on the receipt is divided into three columns: quantity, item number/item text and amount. The fields below control the width of each column so that the lines align neatly.
Column 1 Length: The width of column 1 (quantity). The default is 3.
Column 2 Length: The width of column 2 (item number/item text). The default is 27.
Column 3 Length: The width of column 3 (amount). The default is 11.
Print product identifier: Specify 1 to print the item number on the receipt, or 0 to print only the item text. The default is 1.
With the fields below, the default layout can be replaced with a completely custom template. They are intended for special needs — contact support for help with the setup.
Sale receipt template: An advanced template that can replace the default receipt layout. Only takes effect when the field below is turned on. Empty by default.
Sale receipt template is enabled: Turns the use of the custom sale receipt template on or off. The default is off (false).
Composition sheet template: A template for composition sheet/production prints. Only takes effect when the field below is turned on. Empty by default.
