My day gathers your time registration in one place. Here you see how much time should be registered, what you have registered and what is missing, and you can log time and send your days for approval. Managers can also review, approve and reopen employees' days.
How to find My day
Open Financial from the hamburger menu in the top left corner. Select My day in the menu.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission for it – contact support.
Choose employee and period
If you have the permission to manage My day for others, you can choose which employee you are viewing at the top. Otherwise your own is shown.
Choose the period with From and To, or use the shortcut buttons Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week and Since last approval.
Overview
A summary of the period is shown at the top:
Time to be registered: The time you are expected to register.
Registered time: The time you have registered.
Missing time: The difference, if you are missing registrations.
Overtime: Time beyond what is expected.
Approved up to and including: The latest day that has been approved.
Requested approval up to and including: The latest day you have sent for approval.
Log time
Use Log time to register time on your tasks and sales orders in the period.
Request, approve and reopen
When your days are registered, you send them for approval. A manager can then Approve or Reopen the days. Only users with the permission to manage My day for others can approve and reopen.
Locked days
Time registrations on days that are approved in My day are locked so they cannot be changed. Only a manager can reopen an approval, after which the day can be edited again. The locking is controlled by a time-registration setting.
