This article gives an overview of the settings categories under Point of Sales in Sapera. Point of Sales collects all setup related to the till — from till behavior and receipts to payment terminals, settlement and reports.
The Point of Sales category itself is a top-level category that does not contain settings directly. Instead it acts as an entry point to a number of subcategories, each of which has its own help article with the specific settings. Use the overview below to find the right category.
1. Open the hamburger menu in the top left corner of Sapera and select Financial.
2. Go to Setup → Settings → Point of Sales.
Note that access to the settings requires the relevant permissions. If you lack access, contact an administrator in your company.
Agent application: Setup of the local agent (CRS Agent) that runs on the till — including receipt printer, payment terminals (Verifone, Nets, MobilePay, Vipps, Flatpay, Stripe, Worldline, Softpay), barcode scanner and export of purchase orders. See Agent application.
Native PDF Printing: Settings for printing PDF documents directly from the till. See Native PDF Printing.
Cash Register: The till's general behavior — payment buttons, security codes, sales dialogs, product display and more. See Cash Register.
Offline server: Setup used when the till runs without connection to Sapera. See Offline server.
Settlement: Setup of cash register settlement, including settlement reports and email sending. See Settlement.
Exchange Label: Setup of exchange labels, including validity period and direct print. See Exchange Label.
Revenue Budget: Settings for revenue budget on the till. See Revenue Budget.
POS UI Settings: Settings for the till's user interface, including Touch UI and logos. See POS UI Settings.
Reports: Email settings for receipts and invoices sent from the till. See Reports.
