Under Serial-number items you work with items that are tracked by an individual serial number. Here you can look up the individual serial-number item, see its history and edit its details.
Search and filter the serial-number items via the list preferences, and change organizational unit at the top. Your filters can be saved as a view.
Tap a serial-number item to open it.
The summary shows, among other things:
Display name and serial number.
Number and product number of the product the serial-number item belongs to.
Variant.
Sales price, initial cost and purchase price.
Owner – the customer or actor the item is linked to.
Registration number.
Sold at – when the item was sold.
Address – can be opened directly in the map app.
You can edit the display name and the sales price directly on the screen.
You can add attachments to the individual serial-number item, for example a service certificate or a photo of the installation:
Choose Take a photo, Pick an image or Record a video.
Enter a file name. The file name must not contain invalid characters – otherwise you get a message.
Choose which documents the attachment should be included on: Invoice, Sales order and/or Quote.
Save.
Tap an attachment to open it. You can also edit an existing attachment – both the name and which documents it is included on – or remove it again.
Serial-number items are typically created when the item is received (see the article about deliveries) or sold.
Which details and fields are shown follows your setup in Financial.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission for it – contact support.
