The Product location printout creates a small label (5.2 cm x 3 cm) for a single product location. The label shows the location's name along with a barcode that encodes the location, so you can scan it directly with a handheld scanner. At the top of the label, the store name can be shown in bold.
The printout is used when you want to mark a shelf, bin, or other storage location with a scannable label, so employees can quickly find and register items at the correct location.
The label is filled in automatically based on the location you have selected — you don't need to enter any fields yourself. The location's name and barcode are taken from the selected product location, and the store name is taken from the store you are working in. One page is created per location.
1. Go to Product and then Products in Financial.
2. Click the printer icon in the top right corner.
3. Select the Product location printout.
4. Click the print format you want to print the label in.
This label/barcode printout has a few settings that control its appearance but are not shown in the print dialog. They can be turned on/off or adjusted by support per company. If you want the label customized, contact support and refer to the relevant setting below. The technical name is shown in parentheses.
