The Billwerk account screen is used to connect Sapera with Billwerk, which is an external subscription billing system. The connection is made via an API key that you retrieve from your Billwerk account.
Once the connection is established, Sapera continuously synchronizes data from Billwerk. On the screen, you can see how many plans, subscriptions, customer contracts and invoices are currently synchronized.
From the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of Sapera, open Financial. In the left menu, select Setup → Billwerk account.
Access to the screen requires the "Access Billwerk account" permission.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission to access it. Contact support.
Billwerk account shows the name of the connected Billwerk account once an API key has been entered correctly.
Below this, synchronization statistics are shown with the following figures:
Synchronized plans: Number of subscription plans retrieved from Billwerk.
Synchronized subscriptions: Number of active subscriptions synchronized from Billwerk.
Synchronized customer contracts: Number of customer records synchronized from Billwerk.
Synchronized invoices: Number of invoices synchronized from Billwerk.
The Set API key button opens a dialog where you can enter or change the API key for your Billwerk account.
API key: Text field for your Billwerk API key (max. 255 characters). The key is retrieved from the Billwerk portal.
If you switch the API key to a different account and synchronized data already exists in Sapera, the system asks whether the existing synchronization data should be deleted. This is relevant if you switch to a completely new Billwerk account.
