The Open entries (invoice) report gives you an overview of all the sales invoices that are not yet fully paid at a specific point in time. For each open invoice, invoice number, customer number, customer name and due date are shown together with the original invoice amount and the remaining amount that is still outstanding. At the bottom, both the total invoice amount and the total remaining amount are summed, so you can quickly see the total receivable.
The report is typically used to follow up on debtors — that is, to see who owes money, how much remains to be paid, and which invoices are overdue. It can be run both for the whole company and limited to a single customer or a single organizational unit.
The report is started in Financial. You find it under the customers' area (the customer library) and in Accounting under the reports. Select the report in the report overview, fill in the desired parameters and run it. The result is shown as a PDF print. There is no separate Excel variant of this report.
When you start the report, you can fill in the following fields to limit what is shown.
Limits the print to one organizational unit. If you leave the field empty, all organizational units you have access to are included.
The date the entries are calculated as open by. The report shows the invoices that were still unpaid on this date. The date is also shown at the top of the print itself. If you leave the field empty, the standard calculation is used.
Limits the print to a single customer. If you fill in the customer number, only this customer's open invoices are shown. If you leave the field empty, all customers are included.
Controls how the list is grouped and sorted. Choose Invoice no. to sort by invoice number, or Customer no. to group by the individual customer. The default setting is sorting by invoice no.
