The Translated texts screen allows you to customize what certain system types are called in the Sapera interface in each individual language. For example, you can rename what the system calls a "Serial number item" or an "Order" so the labels match your company's terminology.
The setup applies per type (e.g. Order or Serial number item) and can be specified in singular, plural and as a verb text for creation.
From the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of Sapera, open Financial. In the left menu, select Translated texts. Click it to open the list of translated texts already created.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission to access it. Contact support.
1. Click New (the plus button) to create a new entry, or select an existing entry in the list and click Edit (the pencil button).
2. Select the Type you want to customize. The available types are: Serial number item, Sales order, Serial number, Email type "Primary" heading and Email type "Secondary" heading.
3. Specify Singular — the name the system uses when referring to one element of this type (e.g. "Order").
4. Specify Plural — the name the system uses in plural (e.g. "Orders"). This field is not shown for email types.
5. Specify New verb — the text used in buttons and headings when the user creates a new entry of this type (e.g. "New order"). This field is also not shown for email types.
6. All three text fields support translation into multiple languages — click the language button next to the field to specify the text in each language.
7. Save your changes.
Note: Each type can only have one translated text setup. The system warns you if you try to create a duplicate for a type that is already defined.
Select the desired entry in the list and click Delete (the cross). The action cannot be undone.
