This overview covers what has been added to the Sapera App from May to August 2026 – from version 4.63 to version 5.13. You can always check which version you are running under Settings → About.
My day is a new screen that shows, in one place, what you have worked on, how much time you have logged, and how much is still missing compared with your planned working hours.
Choose a period at the top: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week or Since last approval – or set your own from and to date.
See time to be logged, time logged and missing time for the period. The field turns green when nothing is missing.
Below, you see the sales orders and tasks you have worked on in the period, plus your general tasks.
Use Request approval to send your logged time for approval. You can always see how far your time has been approved and what has been requested.
My day can be enabled and disabled centrally, so the screen only appears if you use time tracking.
You no longer need to open the individual sales order to get the time in place:
Swipe a line on a sales order or task in My day and choose Log time.
If today's sales order is not on the list, add it with Add sales order at the top and log time on it right away.
Each line now shows how much time has been logged, how much is not yet booked, and how much has been booked – so you can see what has actually gone through.
On both tasks and sales orders you can now edit the work log yourself: tap + in the work log table to add a line, or tap a line to edit or remove it. If you have chosen it in the setup, start and end times can be hidden so only the duration is logged. Time can also be logged on cancelled sales orders, so follow-up work is not lost.
The product page now has its own Images section. Take a photo or pick an image from your phone, and then you can:
give the image an alternative text,
choose which image should be the primary one,
move images up and down to get the order right,
remove an image again.
You can now add attachments to both products and serial-number items directly from the app. When you upload, you give the file a file name and choose whether the attachment should be included on the invoice, the sales order and the quote – for example an installation guide that automatically follows the documents sent to the customer. An attachment can be a photo, an image from your phone or a video recording.
Sales and cost prices on sales order lines can now be hidden from employees who should not see them. The permission is called Show sales and cost prices on sales orders and is turned on by default, so nobody loses access when updating. Contact support if you want it turned off for a group.
The task you are checked in on is now highlighted in the task list, so you can quickly see where time is running.
The task overview has a new cell layout that fits more information per line.
Stock drafts: the default stock location is filled in automatically when you add a line manually.
Settings now show the company domain on its own line, making it easier to see which environment you are logged in to.
Faster loading of serial-number items and of My day, also for very large amounts of data.
The app has moved to a newer technical foundation, giving faster lists and better stability.
Handling of subscription purchases in the App Store and Google Play has been updated.
Login: the domain field was automatically capitalised, which could cause login failures.
Tasks: on some rows it was not possible to swipe to assign the task to yourself.
Sales orders: the error "The Subject field is required" could appear even though the subject was filled in, blocking the order.
Error messages disappeared too quickly, and in some cases a message could block the flow while the app was loading.
File upload could time out on large files.
Font sizes in the sales order view were inconsistent.
Some of the new features are controlled by setup and permissions in Financial – for example whether My day is enabled, whether start and end times are shown in the work log, and who may see prices on sales orders. Contact support if you want the setup changed.
