The gift card print is the gift card document itself for one single gift card. It is formatted to receipt width so it can be printed on a receipt printer and handed directly to the customer.
The print shows a header with the store's logo, name, address and phone number, followed by the gift card itself: the issue date ("Issued on"), the gift card's number, a barcode (Code128) above the number so it can be scanned quickly on redemption, and the gift card's amount in kroner.
The print is generated from the gift card you have open and has no user-selected parameters. The store's name, address and logo are pulled automatically from the setup, and the gift card's details are filled in from the gift card itself.
The gift card print is started from the individual gift card in Financial:
1. Go to Gift cards & credit and select Gift cards. 2. Open the gift card you want to print. 3. Select the print via the printer button on the screen.
The print button is only available on a saved gift card. A newly created gift card must therefore be saved before the print can be generated.
