My day gives you a quick overview of your working day: what you have worked on, how much time you have logged, and how much is still missing compared with your planned working hours. You can also log time directly from the screen.
At the top you choose which period to see:
Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week.
Since last approval – from the day after your most recently approved/requested time and onwards.
You can also set a free From and To date if you want to see a specific interval.
For the chosen period, My day shows:
Time to be logged – based on your work schedule (or the default per day).
Time logged – the total time you have logged on tasks and sales orders.
Missing time – the difference. The field turns green when nothing is missing.
Approved up to and Requested up to – how far your time has been approved, and what has been sent for approval.
Below the overview you see:
Sales orders and tasks you have worked on in the period. Tap to open and continue working.
General tasks (tasks without a linked sales order).
For each line you can see three time figures, each with its own icon:
Logged time (clock) – the time logged on the line.
Not booked (warning) – logged time that has not been booked yet.
Booked (check mark) – time that has been booked.
You do not need to open the individual sales order to get the time in place:
Swipe the line on a sales order or a task and tap Log time. The work log editor opens right away.
Fill in the time and save. My day is refreshed afterwards so you can see the new figure.
If today's sales order is missing from the list, you can add it:
Tap Add sales order in the menu at the top.
Search for and select the sales order.
Log the time. If the sales order does not already have a main task, it is created automatically so the time can be logged on it.
With Request approval you send your logged time for approval up to the chosen end date. The button only appears when there is something new to request.
Your planned working hours and the approval flow are controlled by your user/employee setup in Financial.
Whether My day is available is controlled by a setting in Financial under the task settings. If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission for it, or My day is switched off – contact support.
There is also a setting that reminds you to request approval of your time when you open the app.
Time can still be logged inside the individual sales order with start/stop – see the article about sales orders.
