With Mass changes (Masseændringer) you can find many products, customers or suppliers at once and change them in bulk – instead of opening each record on its own.
Open Mass changes in SyncTool.
Find the records with one or more searches. You can add individual rows from a search with "Add selected".
Choose what to change, and run the change.
Price type, location and purchase quantity – can be changed across several accessible org units at once.
Product category.
Field values (dynamic fields) and search tags.
Interval prices (staggered prices).
Copy sales prices from one price type to another – see "Copy sales prices" below.
Category, field values (dynamic fields) and the overridable preferences.
Customers: the effective price type – both as a filter and as a change. See "Customers: effective price type" below.
Under Products you can copy sales prices from one price type to another – e.g. when an older price type is to be phased out and its prices moved to the price type that applies from now on. Find the products (the Current price type filter is handy here) and choose Copy sales prices under "Choose change". Choose the From price type, the To price type and when to copy:
Only where the destination has no price – a price that already exists in the destination is never overwritten.
Where the destination has none, or the source was changed later – a newer destination price is kept.
Where the destination has none, or the price differs – the destination gets the source's price, whichever is newer.
The preview shows each product's destination price before and after, with the date of its last change. The price is copied as it is (incl. VAT), in the organizational unit you are logged in to – or in the units you choose. If the products are to use the new price type afterwards, set it as the products' price type with Price type.
The effective price type is the price type the customer actually buys with in the organizational unit: the customer's own default price type – otherwise its debtor category's. None means the customer buys at the product's own sales price.
Filter: find customers whose effective price type is or is not a given price type – e.g. everyone who does not buy with the price type that applies from now on.
Change: set the effective price type. Customers that already buy with it are left alone. If the customer's debtor category has the price type, the customer inherits it from the category again; otherwise the customer gets the price type as its own. The preview shows what happens to each customer – e.g. "Old price list (own) → New price list (from category)".
Changing a customer's price type changes the prices the customer gets from now on – subscriptions included.
The changes are made via SyncTool against Sapera and follow the same rules as in Sapera. Always run a search first, so you can see exactly which records will be changed.
