Flatpay is a payment terminal integration that lets you accept card payments directly from Pos via a Flatpay terminal. On this page you set up the connection to your Flatpay terminal and control how receipts are handled.
You need a company id and a terminal serial number, which are provided to you by Flatpay, before the integration can be used.
1. Open the hamburger menu in the top left corner and select Financial. 2. Go to Setup → Settings → Point of Sales → Agent application → Flatpay.
Note that the settings are shown with English names in the screen. The setting names below are listed as they appear in Sapera.
Flatpay is enabled: Turns the Flatpay terminal integration on or off. When it is off, payments are not processed via Flatpay. Default: No. Set to Yes to start using Flatpay.
Flatpay company id: The company id provided to you by Flatpay. It is used together with the terminal's serial number to send the payment to the correct terminal. The field is a number. A payment cannot be completed if the company id is missing.
Flatpay terminal serial number: The serial number of the Flatpay terminal itself, provided to you by Flatpay. It identifies the terminal that is to receive the payment. Required in order to complete a payment.
Flatpay receipt is printed together with sales receipt: Controls whether the card receipt from Flatpay is printed together with the regular sales receipt instead of as a separate receipt. Default: No.
Disable terminal printing: Turns off printing on the Flatpay terminal itself. Select Yes if the terminal should not print a receipt itself. Default: No.
Flatpay API to use: Selects how Sapera communicates with Flatpay. You can choose Async API with webhooks (Recommended) or Async API with polling. The default is Async API with webhooks (Recommended), which is also the recommended setting. Only use the polling mode if you have agreed on it with support.
