This printout is a revenue dashboard that summarizes sales and revenue for the selected period. It shows key figures and distributions — typically top categories and top products — so you quickly get an overview of where the revenue comes from.
The printout is generated from the dashboard/analysis area under Accounting in Sapera via the print action. Before the printout is generated, you select the scope with the parameters below.
Limits the dashboard to one or more organizational units (e.g. stores/departments). If the field is left empty, all units you have access to are included.

Start date if you want a custom date range instead of a fixed period.
End date for the custom date range.
Selects which sales sources are included, e.g. POS sales, Invoice, Order, Journal or combinations thereof.

Lower limit for the range of product categories included.
Upper limit for the range of product categories included.
Limits the dashboard to a specific product. If the field is left empty, all products are included.
Limits the dashboard to a specific sales number (external reference). If the field is left empty, all are included.

The table shows this year's figures alongside the same period last year. Three of this year's columns — number of items sold, revenue, and contribution margin (DB) — are shown in green font when this year's figure is higher than last year's figure for the same period. If the figure is equal to or lower than last year, it is shown in black font. The color makes it easy to see at a glance which key figures are improving compared with the year before.
The quantity is the total number of units sold in the period — i.e. the sum of the sold quantities, not the number of sales, receipts or orders. If three units of the same product are sold on one receipt, it counts as three. Returns are subtracted, so the figure is a net quantity. Gift cards and products that are not marked as 'Included in revenue' are not counted. The figure also follows the selected sources, organizational units and the period you have chosen at the top of the dashboard.
In addition to the choices shown in the print dialog, the dashboard has a few settings that control its behaviour and can be adjusted by support per company. If you want the dashboard changed, contact support and refer to the relevant setting below. The technical name is shown in parentheses.
Limit to the current accounting set, or include across accounting sets (filteronmetalevel)
