Relation types

Set up and manage the types of relations that can be created between actors in Sapera.

What are relation types?

Relation types define how two actors can be linked to each other. A relation type describes the connection from both sides and indicates whether it is a one-to-one, one-to-many or many-to-many relation. The types are used when you create relations directly on an actor.

System-defined relation types are delivered with Sapera and cannot be deleted or renamed via the system name. You can, however, edit the display name and the roles on them.

How to access the screen

From the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of Sapera, open Financial. In the left menu, select ActorsRelation types.

If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission to access it. Contact support.

Create a new relation type

1. Click New at the top of the list.

2. Fill in the fields in the edit form (see the description below).

3. Click Save to save the new relation type.
