With account groups you can collect your accounts into reporting lines – for example assets, liabilities, revenue and expenses. The groups are the foundation for showing figures from the chart of accounts together in balance, profit/loss and SaperaBI reports.
How to access account groups
Open Shop Manager and go to the Account groups menu item. Access is controlled by permissions – contact support if the item is not visible.
Create and link accounts
Create or edit an account group with a descriptive name.
Link the accounts from the chart of accounts that should be part of the group.
Sapera includes a set of standard account groups (reporting lines) that you simply link your own accounts to.
Where account groups are used
The account groups are used as reporting lines in balance and profit/loss statements and in SaperaBI, so the reports can show your figures consistently across accounting companies.
