A membership in Sapera connects an account (user or group) with a specific group within an organizational unit. The "Managing memberships" screen gives a single overview of all these connections in the system, regardless of which group or unit they belong to.
The screen is typically used by administrators who need to view or correct access relationships across the organization — for example to ensure that an account is associated with the right groups at the right organizational level.
From the hamburger menu in the top left corner of Sapera, open Financial. In the left menu, select Memberships. The screen immediately shows a list of all registered memberships in the system.
If you cannot see the menu item in the menu, you probably do not have permission to it. Contact support.
Org. unit: The organizational unit the membership is linked to. You can filter directly in the column by typing in the filter field at the top.
Group: The group the account has been added as a member of. Can be filtered.
Account: The user or group (trustee) that is a member of the above group. Can be filtered.
Created by: The user in Sapera who created this membership. Can be filtered by searching on username.
Created on: Date and time of when the membership was registered.
Click New in the toolbar at the top. An edit window opens with three fields.
1. Select the desired Org. unit from the dropdown list.
2. Search for and select the Group the account is to be added to, via Group search.
3. Search for and select the account (user or subgroup) to be added, via User/group search.
4. Save with Apply to create the new membership.
Select the desired row in the list and click Remove in the toolbar. Sapera asks you to confirm the deletion by showing the name of the account, group and organizational unit before the action is carried out.
