Data health check is a feature in Sapera that continuously checks the quality and consistency of your data. Each check runs automatically in the background and registers any irregularities as warnings.
The screen is divided into two parts: an overview of the defined checks and a separate notification list that shows the latest results grouped by the area (accounting metadata or stock metadata) they cover.
From the hamburger menu in the top-left corner of Sapera, open Financial. In the left menu, select Setup → Data health check.
If you cannot see the menu item, you probably do not have permission to access it. Contact support.
System name: The technical name of the check, used for identification in the system.
Display name: The user-friendly name of the check.
Description: An explanation of what the check examines.
Area: Indicates the scope of the check. The value is either Accounting metadata or Stock metadata depending on which data the check analyzes.
Created: The date the check was created in the system.
Updated: The date of the most recent change to the check.
Select a check in the list and click Run. The system runs the check immediately and opens a result window if there are warnings. If the check has no warnings, a confirmation message is shown.
When a check has warnings, they are shown in a dialog window with the following columns:
Warning: A short description of the irregularity found.
Details: Elaborating information about the warning.
Priority: The severity of the warning. Possible values are Low, Normal or High.
Concerns: Link to the affected entity in the system, e.g. an actor or a product.
Note: If there are more than 500 warnings, only the first 500 are shown.
In the notification view, you can see the latest check results per area. Rows with warnings are shown in bold.
Health check: The name of the check the result originates from.
Area: Accounting metadata or Stock metadata.
Run on: The time of the latest run.
Total number of warnings: The total number of warnings found.
Snoozed: Indicates whether the notification is paused.
Snoozed until: The date the notification is snoozed until.
Disabled: Indicates whether the notification is permanently disabled.
From the notification list you can:
1. Click View result to see the latest warnings for the selected entry.
2. Click Recheck now to run the check again immediately and update the result.
3. Select Snooze until and select a period (one day, one week, two weeks, one month, half a year or disable) to avoid seeing the warning for a period.
4. Click Resume to remove a snooze and reactivate the notification.
