The printout Reservation creates a reservation document for one specific product. It gives you a combined overview of how many units of the item are reserved or allocated as of a selected stock date, and what the reservations originate from.
For the selected product, one line is shown per active reservation. Each line tells which type the reservation is — Allocated, Parked, Loan or Reserved — and which source it comes from, that is, whether it is connected to a till receipt, an invoice or a sales order, with the associated document number. In addition, the associated customer and supplier, the reserved quantity and the quantity that has been ordered on a purchase order (with the latest purchase order number) are shown, so you can see what is already on its way to cover the reservation. Any public and internal notes on the reservation are included. At the bottom, the total reserved quantity and the total ordered quantity are summed up.
The printout is typically used to document, to the customer or internally, what has been set aside on an item, and to assess whether enough has been ordered to cover the existing reservations.
The date the reservation should be calculated as of. The reservations are shown as they looked on this date. If the field is left empty, today's date is used.
The product itself is not selected manually — the printout automatically retrieves the product you start it from.
1. Go to Product and select Products. 2. Open the product you want to see reservations for. 3. Click the printer icon and select the printout Reservation.
The printout opens as a PDF, which you can print or save.
