Address Preferences controls how addresses are entered in Sapera. Here you decide whether address fields should use automatic Danish address lookup, so the system suggests valid addresses as you type, instead of you entering everything manually.
The settings are located under Settings and typically require administrator or setup permissions to be changed.
Open the main menu in the top left of Sapera and select Financial. Then go to Setup and select Settings. Find the address preferences category in the settings tree under the user and address settings.
Note that the setting names are shown in English in Sapera.
Use DAWA: Determines whether address fields in Sapera should use automatic address lookup via DAWA (Denmark's Addresses Web API). When the setting is turned on, Sapera suggests valid Danish addresses as you type, and you can select an address from the list, after which the fields are filled in automatically. This makes entering addresses faster and reduces errors. When the setting is turned off, no suggestions are shown, and addresses must be entered manually. The default setting is off, so address lookup must be actively enabled before it works.
